What does “digital transformation” and “digital solutions” actually mean in an organisation? At Bullet it just means solving a problem… digitally. That’s what we do. Simply.

Simon, Andy and Tim share over 25 years experience in the industry across a range of web development deliveries within both the private and public sectors. We bring a "can do" attitude to all that is thrown at us and pride ourselves on being able to balance short-term goals with the bigger picture. Our main aim is to understand your organisational needs and help shape solutions that are right for you. We'll translate that into deliverables and oversee delivery through our multi-talented team.

Having started Red Bullet, a full service agency, back in 2006, Simon led the creation of a dedicated web development arm of the business back in 2004 alongside Andy and Tim.

Having started Red Bullet, a full service agency, back in 2006, Simon led the creation of a dedicated web development arm of the business back in 2004 alongside Andy and Tim. With experience in the digital sector spanning 20 years Simon has worked with clients from small SME’s to household names such as Santander, NASA, BT, Expedia and many more.

Simon is able to understand complex processes and evolve them into simple digital tasks, always speaking in plain english.

Away from work, Simon has too many kids (well, 3) and spends a lot of time facilitating their sporting passions!

Jodie recently qualified with us under the Government's apprenticeship scheme.

Having recently passed her apprenticeship (Level 4 in Software Testing), Jodie leads all our testing and quality assurance on completed projects. Working closely with the development team through the planning and prototyping phases, Jodie then creates detailed test cases as well as more general functional testing plans to ensure the tools we build work properly. We strive to ensure the tools we create are of the highest quality – both in terms of robustness and usability. Jodie provides this.

Jodie also heads up our support desk and will be your contact on launch of your project. Away from work, Jodie is captain for Canterbury City Ladies Football team.

A futurist at heart, Sean is passionate about digital people, digital practice, new technologies, and how they align to transform business and humanity. Qualified to postgraduate level and recently achieving an Executive Diploma in Digital Business Leadership.

Jason believes that with recent advances in natural language processing, chatbots are poised to make a big impact on user experience. With thoughtfully designed chatbots users can now access services in a “conversational” manner, using their favourite messaging tool, such as Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Slack to name just a few.

Bev leads our work around user research and usability. Ensuring our tools are usable is a key goal for us here.

Bev Croft

Bev works across the Bullet Digital Solutions and Red Bullet (sister company) teams. She brings over 10 years of experience on projects for Admiral, Santander, Expedia and Local Government. Her strengths are being able to create user personas that marry real users. This enables us to carry out user testing with the right people to ensure what we produce is usable – this can guide things like form labelling, taxonomy and calls to actions. Ensuring what we build can be understood and used efficiently is at the heart of what we do.

Bev works closely with Gareth and Jodie to take early prototypes and finished tools out to real users. In a world where software companies can deliver complex, unwieldy systems, we strive to break the trend and deliver tools that increase efficiency.

THE WIDER TEAM

Our development team has been assembled based around the technologies we work with. Predominantly this is using open source technologies (particularly the Laravel Framework) and most of our team is skilled in this area, led by Dima Korobka. We also have skills across .NET technologies though, led by Ben Fidge who has a wealth of experience in this area.

OUR STORY

Bullet Digital Solutions is a sister company to Red Bullet. The latter has been operating as a digital agency for over 12 years now. It’s founder, Simon Wilson, saw an opportunity to create a dedicated team aimed at delivering web-based solutions for organisations with a focus on solving workflow problems or increasing efficiency.

We’ll often collaborate with our sister company, Red Bullet, after all, we share an office and the crossover of skills is of benefit to both teams.
